We want to give our children life changing experiences and opportunities so we have partnered with The UK Sailing Academy (UKSA) to offer residentials on the Isle of Wight to all our Year 5 pupils, without charge to their families.

Many E-ACT pupils won’t have ever stayed away from home before, so we want to give them the opportunity to experience a new part of the world and given them a glimpse of the opportunities that await them.

As well as providing exciting new experiences, the residential also focuses on building skills for life such as communication, decision making and teamwork.

Year 5 E-ACT pupil
“I loved the whole trip to the Isle of Wight. My favourite part was when we went sailing … it was amazing!”

Year 5 E-ACT pupil
“I learned how to swim and how to catch crabs and how to do paddle boarding.”

Furthermore, through the ongoing COVID-19 situation, UKSA have put every precaution in place to protect all of those visiting and taking part in their residentials.

This year’s trip dates will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
