Here at Reedswood we believe that our pupil’s voices play a vital role in enabling us to understand the needs and concerns of our children.
It also enables our children to feel valued and respected within the school community and gives them confidence and invaluable experience to discuss and debate their opinions.
We utilise pupil voice to ensure academic progression whilst also openly discussing how we can progress as an academy to support their needs.
In order to enable our pupils to actively engage in discussions across all areas within school, we have a range of different Pupil Leadership teams. Below we are proud to introduce you to our Head and Deputy Boys and Girls:
As well as our Heads and Deputies we also have:
- School Council – This consists of children from a range of year groups, openly discussing ongoing projects within the academy as well as any issues or discussion points identified by their peers.
- Eco Council – With a strong link to forest school, our ‘Eco Warriors’ discuss ways to ensure we are being as eco-friendly as possible within the academy. Our Eco Warriors will band together to promote litter picking, recycling, prevention of wasted electricity and so much more!
