Our children have been impressing their teachers… let’s find out how!

1VG – Harry has been trying really hard with his handwriting these last couple of weeks and Miss Golder is very proud of how much it has improved.

2LP – Mr Peatroy is very impressed with Farah who wrote a fantastic recount of our immersion day from the past in school!

Mrs Pike – Mrs Pike is very proud of all the children who have worked extremely hard on Phonics this term. Special congratulations to the children in Year 2 who have done their Phonic Screening Check recently!

3HF – Haider for trying really hard with his maths work and Harry for improving his handwriting and general class work. Well done to both!

3PG – Mrs Maddison would like to thank 3PG for being such a kind and hard working class, as she has come back from maternity and is enjoying teaching them on Thursdays and Fridays.

4WC – William wrote a great sentence in his final paragraph – ‘As they were leaving the fair, the magical  fireworks echoed in the distance.’

4KR – 4KR have designed and made their own Christmas stockings! They used overstitch and running stitch to join the felt pieces together and they have added festive embellishments to complete them. They are now ready to hang up for Father Christmas!

5PB – Mrs Beresford says a big well done to Nishawan who achieved a fantastic score in his maths test.

5HT – Crystal in 5HT is a fabulous friend to all children. This half term she has been helping myself more than ever and supporting children who need help. I am very proud to teach her and have her as a member of our class.

6HL – In 6HL, we have been extremely impressed with the writing produced from Rehan and Bradley this week. They have both been very creative and have written some fantastic pieces of work in response to the Literacy Shed film ‘Soar’. We can’t wait to read their final drafts on Monday!
