An appropriate school uniform helps to promote equality, cohesion and a sense of pride in the academy and a child’s appearance.
Our vision is based on the notion that a uniform:
- promotes a sense of pride in the academy
- creates a feeling of community and belonging
- is practical and smart
- identifies the children with the academy
We believe that parents have a duty to send their children to the academy correctly dressed and ready for their daily schoolwork. Parents should ensure that their child has the correct uniform, and that it is clean and in good repair.
We completely understand any financial concerns regarding uniform therefore the only expectation for school branded clothing are our Jumpers/Cardigans, School Ties and PE Polos. There are school branded options for other clothing (which can be ordered as seen below) however shirts, trousers, etc. can be purchased elsewhere. This is in conjunction with the DfE guidance around the cost of school uniform which can be found by clicking here.

There is Pastoral support in our school house building with second hand uniform items that have been donated by ‘New Life’ in Cannock. We also recycle lost property items after a certain period of time that have no names on. These are washed and put out on agreed times for parents to help themselves. If you would like more information on this, please speak to our Pastoral Team.
The uniform at Reedswood E-ACT Primary Academy is as follows:
Required (All year round):
- Purple sweatshirt/cardigan (with logo)
- White shirt

- Black shoes (no trainers)
- Black or white socks
- Grey trousers/Grey skirt
Optional (All year round):
